Football:
We’re still bringing you the best in Spring game coverage —
Seminole Wrap podcast: The Athletic’s Andy Staples, fresh off being one of FSU’s guest coaches/playcallers for the Spring game, joins the pod. Andy was kind enough to talk the process behind getting selected, what it felt like to successfully nail a wheel route, his impressions of the program, The Neverending Story and more.
McKenzie Milton needed five seconds to look at this call sheet and decide — long before we called anything — how @aadelsonESPN and I would call the game-winning TD. He pointed at No. 7 and said if we hit big any play, follow up immediately with that. https://t.co/KbjtqNS1kW pic.twitter.com/9nyXBOZtjv

Scenes from the sideline: ESPN writer Andrea Adelson, another of the guest coaches for the game, wrote a piece on her experience at FSU’s Spring game that is well worth the read.
But the big deal that came out yesterday is Florida State getting out in front of the Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) law that will go into effect in Florida July 1st. FSU announced they are partnering with the Apex program, which will help Seminole athletes capitalize on their NIL, as well as offering courses. Again, this is a big deal and you can read all the details about it here.
Also, this video about it is exceptionally well done:

Recruiting:
FSU picked up the commitment of Georgia athlete Rodney Hill over the weekend, who had obviously been listening to Jalen Ramsey. Coach AB has more great insight as he scouts Hill’s versatile talent.
Hill is sure to be followed by more commitments, so stay up to date with the Official Tribe 22 Recruiting Thread #3.
