Florida State football’s first fall scrimmage concluded late on Saturday evening. An energetic Kenny Dillingham was last to sit down at the podium and speak to the media. Dillingham was pleased with both McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis, saying both had good scrimmages. He mentioned some improvements could come in the willingness to take short throws and upping the tempo.

Dillingham was most pleased with Jashaun Corbin, in his performance and leadership. The offensive coordinator said it was the best he’s seen Corbin run since he’s been at FSU. He complimented Corbin on the grind he faced to get back to full health and said the best part is seeing ‘the smile as he realizes he’s getting it back.’

The last question to Dillingham was about which player had been the most consistent through week one of practice. He mentioned that the majority of the offense has been consistent, but Jordan Travis, Keyshawn Helton, and the running back group have stood out for their consistency this fall. On Helton, Dillingham said, “I couldn’t be happier for a person— he’s a true Seminole.”
