Florida State football concluded their first practice of week two of fall on Monday morning. After practice, Mike Norvell and players met with media over zoom. Two of those players were running backs Treshaun Ward and Jashaun Corbin.
Ward was put on scholarship in spring after making consistent impact in practices. On receiving the scholarship, Ward said, “The scholarship meant a lot to me to be able to take the weight off my mom’s shoulders having to pay my tuition.”
The running back has been praised for his competitive attitude over the first week of fall practice. On his ability to compete, he said, “My competitiveness allows me to keep my head on straight and keep pushing no matter what it is... I was always competitive since I was young. I don’t like to lose.” When asked on what he’ll bring to the offense this season, Ward said, “My vision and making people miss.”
