Florida State football is back on the practice field this morning as the sun broke through the clouds in Tallahassee after a rain-filled Monday. The first three sessions of practice were open to the media. First was a special teams drill, then some one-on-ones, and lastly a quick two-minute drill, which was dominated by the defense.

Travis Jay was the highlight of the two-minute drill. On the first play, Jay swatted a pass away from Andrew Parchment on a 50-50 ball. He finished the period with an interception down the field. The defensive line got heavy pressure throughout the portion, making it tough on the offense to push the ball down the field. Jarvis Brownlee also had a pass breakup near the sideline. He also had a couple good tackles in the prior period.
