Florida State football hit the practice fields for the fifth straight day this morning. The first three sessions of practice were open to the media for video and photos. Included in those sessions was one-on-one tackling drills and 11-on-11 in the red-zone. The defense dominated the 11-on-11, as the offense never found it’s way into the end-zone. The last two days, the offense has struggled with pre-snap penalties which has hampered their ability to finish drives.
Kevin Knowles had the highlight of the early viewing. The freshman hauled in a one-handed interception as he leaped up into the air and secured the ball as he came to the ground. The play didn’t stand due to an offsides before the play, but the freshman still showed off his hands and athleticism.
Didn’t stand because of an offsides, but a nice snag here by freshman Kevin Knowles. pic.twitter.com/TPk1F1DVFI— Brett Nevitt (@brettpn) August 20, 2021
