Florida State football had their fifth practice in as many days in a ‘critical’ week of practice. After practice, a trio of players met with the media as wide receivers Ontaria Wilson and Kentron Poitier and defensive back Akeem Dent each spoke. Dent feels that he and the team are in a good place through two weeks of practice. “I feel very good, especially with the team and who everything’s been going. We’re just climbing everyday.”
On the ups and downs of the 2020 season, Dent said, “Even though it went how it went with the ups and down, I feel like it was the best learning experience I could have had. It’s put me in a better position.”

On the progress of fall camp, Wilson said, “Two weeks in, everything’s coming together pretty good. I feel like if we just finish with effort, everything will just fall into place.”

On the defensive backs and working against them at practice, Poitier said, “It’s a great competition going against them everyday. Working technique and working off their technique, it’s been a battle everyday in practice.”
On what he’s working to improve on, he said, “Consistency. Catching the ball consistently, trying to make two plays back-to-back when my number gets called.”
