Florida State football hit the practice field on Saturday for a shorter practice, their last of the week before tomorrow’s scrimmage. The first three periods of practice were open to the media for video and photos. The ‘Noles went through two periods of drills, before running tempo in a team period.
Jordan Travis and Chubba Purdy each led a drive. Travis’ drive was hampered by heavy pressure and a drop. Purdy had lots of success in moving the ball down the field. On his first play, Purdy rolled out to his right and found Darion Williamson for a big gain. DJ Williams had two successful runs on the drive, including tucking the ball inside the pylon for a TD on the last play of the period.
