Florida State football concluded its first practice of the week this morning. Mike Norvell wasn’t scheduled to speak to the media, but stopped by the podium for a couple questions. After going back and watching the scrimmage film, Norvell was pleased with the growth he’s seeing from his team and specifically some of the underclassmen that could provide them depth.
Norvell said, “I thought it was good work. You’re seeing the growth with the younger players. Guys are really starting to step up. I like the competition, I like the continued push for depth. I’m excited about some of the continuity that’s coming.”
He added, “We want to play our best ball at the end. We got to get better today to be able to do that. I’m excited about what I’m seeing and the confidence that’s starting to emerge through the work.”
