VIDEO: Mike Norvell talks after Wednesday’s practice

“Good to get to game week and get out there and see the guys fly around.”

“Good to get to game week and get out there and see the guys fly around. It was nice having basically two game weeks to prep the expectations of what we needed to see today”, said Mike Norvell after Florida State football’s first practice of Notre Dame game week. Despite it being a Wednesday, the ‘Noles held their typical Tuesday practice format. The Seminoles worked critical situations and will work on cleaning up some miscommunications tomorrow.

With four days till kickoff, the ‘Noles are preparing for an electric atmosphere in Doak Campbell Stadium. On the atmosphere Norvell expects on Sunday night, he said, “It’s going to be electric. This is the greatest place in all of college football to play a night game. It’s going to be exciting. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing our fans.”

The Seminoles still have an ongoing QB battle between McKenzie Milton and Jordan Travis. On the QB and WR play, the head coach said, “I think there was some good and some bad. We got to be a little more consistent on certain aspects. Overall, we’ve been pretty sharp the last week and a half. Today, there was some missed opportunities and things we have to clean up over the next couple days.”
