Florida State Seminoles head coach Mike Norvell spoke with the media on Wednesday ahead of this weekend's upcoming matchup versus the Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem, NC.
“We had a pretty good practice today, started off working our way through continuing to push the tempo, we got a two-minute situation and we were able to get into our third and fourth down plan a little bit and also introducing red zone for these guys. I thought it was a good work day. I thought that the guys got better as the practice went on so that was a positive and we're really talking about how we're finishing so we got to keep pushing.”
Norvell on taking the field for the first time on the road this season and how they prepare for it:
“It's something that we try to train for, I know I mentioned maybe Monday about the trip to Jacksonville and all things that kind of help us in those situations. Implementing crowd noise and music in practice just to force the discomfort in what we're doing and how we're doing that and how they respond when they’re uncomfortable.”
You can catch the game on Saturday, September 18th at 3:30 pm on ESPN. The rest of the interview can be found below.
