Florida State running back Jashaun Corbin had an explosive game last Saturday against the Louisville Cardinals totaling a massive 159 yards on eleven carries and a touchdown. About half of those yards came on a 75-yard touchdown run he sprung free to put some spark in the Seminoles coming out of the half on fire.
“The O-lineman, they blocked it up perfectly. All week we’ve been preaching [attack the] second level for us. We just gotta make the last guy miss, so I just do what I normally do and the rest will take care of itself.”

“We definitely watch tackle tape, you know how guys tackle. I seen he was kinda overplaying my front shoulder so I knew I was able to get backside on him. I made the cut, I made the stiff-arm and tried not to get caught.”

Another standout from last week’s second half was linebacker D.J Lundy. Lundy is fifth on the team in tackles with 20 and that played a role in the second-half shutout against Louisville.
“We made a few small changes, but it was more of us just playing smarter football, playing together as a unit, not trying to make the big play. Just everyone doing their part and playing as a unit.”
