Recruiting
Check out all the latest recruiting updates in the latest version of the official Tomahawk Nation recruiting thread.
Football
“To be a successful football program there is no way around it; it’s not just going to magically show up. I want guys to have the greatest time in the world when they come out here on the practice field. When they go out on game day I want them to enjoy it. But I want them to never lose sight of the focus of the work that is necessary.”
“I will not allow it to be anything different. If we can’t give great effort and a sense of improvement every day what are we here for?”
Florida State football head coach Mike Norvell offered those words of wisdom yesterday after practice — the Seminoles are seeking their first win of the season vs. Syracuse

Soccer
Our Prince Akeem Joeffer, the man of mystery and best FSU women’s sports writer around, took the time to break down some storylines surrounding the soccer team.
Basketball
Florida State men’s basketball got a commit in the form of 2022 recruit Tom House, a 6’6 small forward from Dayton Ohio who attends Centerville High School.
House officially visited last Friday, September 24th following an official visit to the University of Georgia the previous weekend. He committed to FSU over the Georgia Bulldogs and many smaller offers.
An under-the-radar recruit, House has only played about a year of competitive basketball as he sat out his sophomore year after previously focusing on swimming.
House is the son of Dayton women’s basketball assistant coach Jeff House, and his basketball IQ shows. Despite playing very little competitive basketball, House was the leading scorer on his team, helping lead them to the Ohio state championship by hitting a buzzer-beater.
