Florida State will host the Fighting Walt Bells (Massachusetts Minutemen) this Saturday. The Seminoles are officially on a winning streak after their convincing victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels. This weekend, FSU will look to make it three in a row.
- Opponent: Massachusetts Minutemen
- First matchup: 10/23/2021
- Series record: FSU and UMass are locked in a 0-0 tie.
- Current streak: No team currently owns a streak in this matchup.
- Last game: Florida State and UMass have never met each other on the football field.
This historic rivalry begins this Saturday as UMass and Florida State square off for a nooner. Some may laugh at this game, but this could prove to be an important game for the Seminoles. After the loss to Jacksonville State earlier in the season, FSU needs to prove that it doesn’t play to the level of the opponent. On that note, if the Noles can build an early lead, this could be an invaluable opportunity to get the younger guys much-needed, in-game reps.
NoleThruandThru’s Recruiting Reminiscences
