Florida State running back recruit Charles Strong is one of the best in the state for the class of 2018. Strong transferred to Lake Butler (Fla.) Union County High School this yea and sent along his highlights to Tomahawk Nation.
At 6’1, 226, Strong is an imposing figure in the backfield. He routinely runs through arm tackles. But he is showing better agility and burst as a junior than he did as a sophomore, which is encouraging. He rushed for 1279 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior. He added 118 yards receiving.
Strong picked Florida State over offers from Alabama and Miami, among others. He is one of the most solid FSU commitments for the class of 2018, which seems to be shaping up quite well for the Seminoles.
