Florida State already gained a major bit of good news on the recruiting trail Friday in JUCO linebacker Adonis Thomas.
But the Seminoles, currently ranked 12 nationally in recruiting with a lot of room for upward mobility, might not be done.
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG tight end commitment Tre McKitty is a top target for the Seminoles, who would accept a second tight end in the class to accompany commitment Andrew Marshall.
McKitty tweeted the following Friday afternoon.
Can't believe high school is over man, got some news to share tonight!

McKitty was originally committed to Oregon, though few thought a Tampa product would actually go all the way to Eugene. Though the hire of USF coach Willie Taggart has made things interesting, the main competition is believed to be between FSU, Auburn and Miami.
The 6’4, 235-pound McKitty has added a lot of muscle as a senior, and whenever he is called upon to play, looks ready physically. He has good athleticism and can catch the football, too.
