It’s just too damn quiet.

The Seminoles’ depth chart for this weekend’s game against Delaware State has finally stabilized after a lot of changes during the season.

Adversity, the progression of Blackman, and decision making: topics of conversation from Jimbo’s weekly press conference leading up to this Saturday’s game.

FSU’s rivalry game against the Florida Gators has been announced as a noon game, which doesn’t come as much of a surprise due to the lack of success from both teams.

SB Nation provided another mock 2018 NFL draft and has ‘Noles standout Derwin James going at No. 28 to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but not in a role we’ve seen him in for Florida State.

Our own Bud Elliott took to discussing what no 'Noles fan wants to think about: the effects of this season on recruiting.

“Normally this time of year, I have a lot of names that Florida State’s coaches are talking to to fill the final six or seven spots but not this year. Sure, I could say that FSU is looking at WR Rashod Batemen, but things are really quiet.”

The FSU recruiting world had a recent scare with DB Houston Griffin, from IMG Academy by way of Chicago, after a graphic was tweeted from his account showing a commitment to Notre Dame. Seems it was a prank, and when asked about changes in coaching staff, he made it “clear” he’s sticking with the 'Noles.

“I’m committed to Florida State, that’s all I’m going to say about that.”

Action of NFL 'Noles can be caught up on here.

Last week it was reported that ’Noles alum Timmy Jernigan is getting paid and earned himself a huge extension with the Eagles. His teammates took the time to congratulate him.

Ronald Darby, also on the Eagles’ roster, is back on the field after suffering a dislocated ankle in week 1. He is scheduled to start in this week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Some bad news for Falcons fans, as FSU star Devonta Freeman suffered his second concussion of the season and may miss more games.

Seminoles men’s basketball was able to sign class of 2018 shooting guard Devin Vassell in the early period. Vassell comes from Peachtree Ridge High School in Georgia. He is listed at 6’5, 170 lbs. and is the No. 173 recruit in the class. Vassell is the first to sign for the 2018 class.

With the NCAA basketball season around the corner, and the loss of a ton of talent to the NBA, our staff takes to discussing the potential for this season.

Women’s hoops took another step up in this week’s AP top 25 poll after starting off the season strong last week.
