The FSU recruiting world had a recent scare with DB Houston Griffin, from IMG Academy by way of Chicago, after a graphic was tweeted from his account showing a commitment to Notre Dame. Seems it was a prank, and when asked about changes in coaching staff, he made it “clear” he’s sticking with the 'Noles.
“I’m committed to Florida State, that’s all I’m going to say about that.”
Last week it was reported that ’Noles alum Timmy Jernigan is getting paid and earned himself a huge extension with the Eagles. His teammates took the time to congratulate him.

Seminoles men’s basketball was able to sign class of 2018 shooting guard Devin Vassell in the early period. Vassell comes from Peachtree Ridge High School in Georgia. He is listed at 6’5, 170 lbs. and is the No. 173 recruit in the class. Vassell is the first to sign for the 2018 class.
