Florida State lost another commit Wednesday afternoon when three-star linebacker Rosendo Louis announced that he will be signing with South Carolina over Florida State.
Despite holding offers from Georgia, South Carolina, and Auburn, Louis took just one official visit during the season, heading to FSU the weekend of October 20th. He stuck with his Florida State commitment through the coaching change and tweeted his support after an in-home meeting with new head coach Willie Taggart last week.
However, Louis took an official visit to South Carolina last weekend and the buzz surrounding his recruitment began to change.
Louis was ranked as the 23rd inside linebacker and 425th recruit in the nation per the 247Sports composite rankings. With Louis now out of the fold, FSU has only one linebacker committed in its 2018 recruiting class, four-star outside linebacker Amari Gainer, and the Seminoles’ 2018 class is down to only eight members.
