Seven Florida State decommitments in the past seven days

The hits just keep on coming.

Literally as I hit the publish button on Antoine Green’s decommitment story earlier on Sunday, Florida State lost another commitment, its seventh in the past week.

Green’s teammate from Rockledge (Fla) Rockledge Senior, four-star all-purpose back Jashaun Corbin also announced his decommitment from the program.

The Seminoles lost Patrick Joyner Jr. earlier on Sunday, aside from Green, a trio of athletes on Wednesday and offensive lineman Wanya Morris last Sunday. It has not been a great week for Florida State recruiting to say the least.

The 6’0 191 lb. recruit was Florida State’s fifth highest ranked recruit in its 2018 class. He ranks No. 249 nationally, No. 6 at his position, and No. 48 in the state of Florida.

Like Green, Corbin has a plethora of other offers, 34 to be precise, which includes Oregon. (I touched on what that could mean in Green’s story)

Florida State’s class continues to tumble in the rankings, now listed at No. 32 according to 247 composite rankings.
