FSU National Signing Day recruit announcement schedule

Find out when all of Florida State’s targets will make their announcements.

All you need to know on five-star DT Marvin Wilson.

Florida State football has the chance to make an already great 2017 recruiting class even better on National Signing Day. The ‘Noles saw five blue-chip recruits enroll early, highlighted by five-stars RB Cam Akers and DE Joshua Kaindoh.

On Wednesday, the ‘Noles have a total of eight targets that will announce their commitments. On Tuesday, Bud Elliott made his predictions on where those eight will go.

Here is the full schedule of when FSU’s targets are expected to announce their decision:

Leonard Warner, four-star LB, Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood
Finalists: Florida State, Stanford
Time: 8:30 AM EST
Channel: Fox 5 Atlanta (In Atlanta area)
Notes: All 17 crystal ball picks on 247 Sports have Warner heading to Tallahassee.

Levi Jones, four-star LB, Austin (Tx.) Westlake
Finalists: Florida State, Florida, USC
Time: 8:50 AM EST
Channel: ESPN
Notes: Levi Jones has been involved with Florida State recently, making an official visit on January 27th. The timing is just one of the main reasons why the majority of crystal ball picks are for FSU.

Neil Farrell, three-star DT, Mobile (Al.) Murphy
Finalists: Florida State, LSU, USC
Time: 10:00 AM EST
Channel: Twitter
Notes: Farrell is a current LSU commit that has been a candidate to flip for quite some time now. Farrell made his official visit to Florida State this past weekend which could play an integral part in his decision.

Jarez Parks, four-star DE, Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River
Finalists: Florida State, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, North Carolina
Time: 10:00 AM EST
Channel: None
Notes: Bud noted in his predictions that Alabama and Florida State may have an issue fitting Parks into their classes. He very well could end up at Florida, or even Tennessee.

Henry Ruggs, four-star WR, Montgomery (Al.) Robert E. Lee
Finalists: Florida State, Alabama
Time: 11:00 AM EST
Channel: None
Notes: Ruggs is one of the most explosive wide receivers in the country. While Florida State has seemed to gain traction recently, it will still be difficult to pry the Alabama native away from the Crimson Tide, although very possible. He made his official visit to FSU on January 13th.

Devonta Smith, four-star WR, Amite (La.) Amite
Finalists: Florida State, Alabama, LSU, Miami
Time: 3:00 PM EST
Channel: None
Notes: Much of the same as Ruggs in which Florida State holds a slim chance of pulling Smith out of that Louisiana/Alabama region, however Ruggs earlier commitment could play a role in where Smith ends up. He officially visited FSU on January 15th.

B.J. Thompson, three-star ATH, England (Ar.) England
Finalists: Florida State, Baylor, Texas, Utah, Washington State
Time: 3:30 PM EST
Channel: None
Notes: Thompson plays TE on offense and DE on defense. Seeing as the ‘Noles have a very crowded tight end core with two more incoming freshman, Thompson would more than likely contribute to the defense. FSU might not have room to fit him in.

Marvin Wilson, five-star DT, Bellaire (Tx.) Episcopal
Finalists: Florida State, LSU
Time: 4:30 PM EST
Channel: ESPN2
Notes: The man everyone has been waiting to see commit. This one is going to come down between LSU and FSU and is pretty much a toss up at this point. LSU insiders are feeling confident he will choose the Tigers just as the ‘Noles insiders believe he will be heading to Tallahassee. We’ll just have to wait and see.
