Video: Jimbo Fisher holds National Signing Day press conference

Watch Jimbo Fisher speak about the 2017 Florida State recruiting class.

On Wednesday afternoon, Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher spoke about National Signing Day and the players that have sent in their letter of intents. Note: Fisher was not allowed to talk about Marvin Wilson as the five-star has not announced his commitment yet or sent his LOI in.

Fisher had high praise for early enrollee RB Cam Akers and DB Cyrus Fagan who have been on campus since early January. He spoke about their ceiling and possible contributions heading into the season.

Likewise, the head coach went on a long discussion regarding WR Tamorrion Terry and Ontaria Wilson, two relatively unknown guys out of a small Turner County in Georgia. He went on to compare the duo to the previous NFLers that were unranked when recruited by FSU (Devonta Freeman, Xavier Rhodes, Cam Erving).

Florida State’s class rank now sits at No. 6 in the country and No. 1 in the ACC.
