Florida State offers QB recruit Justin Fields

FSU would like to land an elite QB int he 2018 cycle.

Justin Fields, of Kennesaw (Ga.) Harrison, has earned a Florida State offer. The 6’3, 221-pound quarterback has been committed to Penn State since December of 2016, but made a trip to Tallahassee with his Cam Newton All-Stars 7-on-7 team recently, and stopped by the program.

Fields is widely considered one of the two or three best quarterback prospects in the country, and is the best one this author has seen this year (I have not seen Trevor Lawrence or Phil Jurkoven throw so far in 2017).

This is just the fourth offer extended by FSU in the class of 2018, the others going to Lawrence (Clemson commit), Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and Emory Jones.

Justin Fields could be a taller Russell Wilson

Meet Justin Fields -- a QB recruit in the Russell Wilson mold, but at 6'3, without the height questions. This Georgia star is committed to Penn State, but Florida State Seminoles Football just offered Wednesday after he visited.
