A college football player wears a number of different hats. Student, athlete, university ambassador— the list goes on and on. But it has its limits. And linebacker Rosendo Louis, the latest recruit to commit to Florida State, decided that that limit meant having absolutely zero time for a Miami cap.
Louis’ commitment featured the typical cap selection, as he chose from Oklahoma, Miami, South Carolina, and FSU lids. But Louis threw a little misdirection into the mix, initially grabbing the Hurricanes cap— before he tossed it off the table and opted instead for a ’Noles visor. Louis then stands up, breaks into a Tomahawk Chop, and unbuttons his letterman’s jacket to reveal a Florida State shirt, all in front of an audience that is absolutely coming unhinged at the theatrics.
It’s a great shot across the bow from a player, in Louis, who will head north to Tallahassee from Deerfield Beach, right in Miami’s backyard. Check it out:
