- A plethora of recruits received an offer from Florida State on Tuesday.
- Among those who received an offer is four-star cornerback Olaijah Griffin from Mission Viejo (Ca.) Mission Viejo. He is ranked the No. 31 overall prospect in the nation, No. four cornerback and No. six player in California.

- Cassius Peat, currently at Scottsdale Community College (Az.), also picked up an offer from FSU. The defensive end said he will visit Florida State before February. The three-star is ranked the overall No. 68 JUCO prospect.
- Demarcus Griffin, three-star receiver from Fresno (Ca.) Washington Union now has a Florida State offer. He is ranked the No. 741 overall player in the country, No. 107 WR and No. 92 overall player in California.

- In its latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft, SB Nation has Derwin James going to the Miami Dolphins at No. 11 overall.
- Florida State ranks No. 18 in SB Nation’s way-too-early 2018 football rankings.
- USA Today also has the Seminoles at No. 18.
- Defensive end Jalen Wilkerson will be departing for the 2018 NFL Draft.
