The Nolecast is back with more this week, discussing the ’Noles new defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett, Coach T’s recruiting, and the ongoing assistant coach search.

Speaking of that coaching search, make sure to catch up on the most recent happenings if you haven’t already.

With Tavarus McFadden and Auden Tate announcing their departure over the weekend, there are only a few players left who haven’t officially announced their decision.

With the college football season officially over, some extremely way too early to even tell odds are in for next years championships...

Recruiting

FSU Coach Willie Taggart has focused efforts on the 2020 class this week, most recently offering running back Miles Friday from Stephenson High School. Friday is listed at 5’11, 172 lbs. and had a strong relationship with Oregon while Taggart was the Ducks’ head coach.

The Seminoles continue their efforts in the west coast, offering 2019 all purpose back Sean Dollars from Rancho Cucamonga High School in California. Dollars is listed at 5’10, 185lbs and is ranked the No. 1 all-purpose back, No. 12 in the state of California, No. 102 nationally.

Good to mention that four-star Dollars is another one of Coach Taggart’s recruits at Oregon, who I’m sure he hopes to bring to FSU as part of the #WestSideNoles movement.

Most recent of offers was extended to class of 2019 offensive tackle Harry Miller from Buford High School in Georgia. Miller is listed at 6’4, 310lbs. The four-star is ranked No. 9 at his position, No. 12 in the state of Georgia and No. 66 nationally.

Florida State c/o 2018 offensive tackle commit Christian Meadows pledged his allegiance to the Seminoles despite taking a look at Auburn and Florida. Meadows is the No. 11 offensive tackle in the class, No. 28 in the state of Georgia, and No. 265 nationally.

With the CFP Championship last night, a certain Seminole alum took to Twitter to recall that one day 4 years ago...

After a 1-1 weekend for men’s hoops, they rose slightly in the AP Poll. Florida State has started ACC play 1-2, with two tough games right off the bat (UNC and Miami). Also, check out Curt Weiler’s observations from men’s hoops loss to no. 15 Miami.
