We are back with another week of updates on Florida State’s commits and targets. Each week, we work to report all the updates and results that we can locate from the past week’s games.
We’ll start off with Florida State’s quarterback commit, Sun Valley’s Sam Howell. Details of the game were a little difficult to come by, but Howell had seven touchdowns in Sun Valley’s blowout of Parkwood, 53-7.
Also on the offensive side of the ball, Renardo Green, a defensive back commit from Wekiva, caught a touchdown reception in his team’s 30-29 last minute loss to West Orange.
Safety commit, Nick Cross, is one of the top safeties in the nation. He showed why in his team’s 53-6 blowout of Avalon. Check out his pick six in the video below.

In case you were unaware, FSU is bringing in some beasts at defensive back for 2019. Another one of those studs is Akeem Dent. The cornerback commit contributed on both sides of the ball in Palm Beach Central’s easy 42-0 win over Boca Raton. Dent caught a 19 yard touchdown while having four tackles and one pass break up on the defensive side.
Last, but certainly not least, as reported by Warchant’s Michael Langston on twitter, 2019 defensive back, Travis Jay, had another monster game. Jay threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for another touchdown. He also had two interceptions in Madison County’s 42-0 route of Dunnellon.
That’s it for this week. Keep checking back each week for updates on #Tribe19 and the future.
