We are back with more updates on Florida State’s commits and targets. Each week, we will work to report all the updates and results that we can locate from the past week’s games.
We will start this week off with Florida State’s quarterback commit, Sam Howell. It was the final regular season home game for Howell and he went out with a bang. Howell led Sun Valley to a 55-28 win over Cuthbertson. As reported by Warchant, the 2019 commit threw for over 200 yards and three touchdowns. He also added two touchdowns on the ground. A new name on the Florida State board is target, Lee Kpogba. The linebacker is a force on defense but this past week, he made an impact on the offensive side of the ball with a 48-yard touchdown run in Parkland’s 21-7 victory over Dudley. You can see Kpogba’s big run below:

Safety commit, Nick Cross, is showing up every week on the stat sheet for Dematha Catholic. Interceptions, pick sixes, you name it, he’s doing it. This week, Cross decided to switch things up as he stripped the ball from a runner and returned it for a touchdown in the 32-2 route. You can see Cross’s touchdown below:

Top cornerback commit, Akeem Dent, recorded five tackles in Palm Beach Central’s 42-0 blowout of Jupiter. Dent also had a 28-yard catch in the victory.
And finally, defensive line commit, Quashon Fuller, once again terrorized another backfield. This week, it was against Kathleen. Unfortunately, Fuller and Lehigh lost 40-34. But that doesn’t mean Fuller didn’t make an impact. The 2019 commit had seven tackles, three of those were tackles for a loss. He also added on two sacks and five quarterback hurries.
That’s it for this week. If you know of any other highlights or stats, let us know in the comments. Keep checking back each week for updates on #Tribe19 and the future.
