It’s another week of updates on Florida State’s commits and targets. Every week, we will work to report all the updates and results that we can locate from the past week’s games. Oh, and you’ve been begging for it, so this week, we actually have an offensive lineman highlight.
Florida State offensive target commit, Charles Cross, helped lead Laurel to a 49-6 blowout of Wingfield. Watch Cross latch on to a defender and drive him to the ground.
I saw #FSU Commit Charles Cross in action last night. He is a very impressive athlete at his size. Cross really finished this block. #Noles @Warchant @CharlesCross67 PROFILE: https://t.co/n0k613SW1K pic.twitter.com/IVOB9PeUIm

Quarterback commit, Sam Howell, has had a great year. Unfortunately, Howell and Sun Valley lost 28-7 to Charlotte Catholic. Howell started out strong with 25-yard touchdown pass to start the game, but that would be all the scoring for Sun Valley. Howell finished the night 86 yards passing and 78 yards rushing.
As reported by Warchant, Travis Jay and Madison County routed Pensacola Catholic 48-3. The defensive back commit showed up on both sides of the ball in the victory. Jay had three passing touchdowns, a rushing touchdown, and also took a fumble back for a score.
And finally, no stats from the game, but a highlight from last week. Check out linebacker commit, Kalen Deloach, leveling a running back in his team’s overtime game. Warning: Strong Language in the below highlight.
Why not. Headed to second OT with @Islands_Sharks and @Beach_Athletics tied at 42-42. On a side note, @KalenDeloach likes to hit people hard. @WJCLNews @scoreatlanta @GPBsports pic.twitter.com/REwdxClpJ8
