Inside linebacker Kevon Glenn commits to FSU football

Florida State fills an important need.

Florida State added another piece to its 2019 recruiting class this evening, after a crucial weekend of visitors to Tallahassee. One of those visitors was Kevon Glenn, a three-star inside linebacker prospect, and he has pledged his services to the Seminoles, becoming the first ILB commit in FSU’s 2019 class.

Linebacker, of course, is a position of great need for the ’Noles, so this is an important addition. Glenn (6’1, 220) is from Hampton, Georgia’s Dutchtown high school and is ranked as the 38th-best inside linebacker in the country, the No. 91 player from Georgia, and the nation’s 885th overall prospect. Glenn also has offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, NC State, Syracuse, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Virginia, and several other programs.

Glenn is not expected to sign during this week’s Early Signing Period, as he will likely wait until February’s more traditional National Signing Day. He was recruited to FSU by Ray Woodie.
