3-star linebacker Kevon Glenn signs with Florida State

FSU finds much needed linebacker depth.

Three-star inside linebacker Kevon Glenn has decided to join Willie Taggart and Co. and sign with the Noles.

The Florida State staff discovered Glenn late in the process and were able to get him in for an official visit and secure a commitment. Once the Noles offered they quickly became the perceived favorites for Glenn over Missouri and Boston College. Inside linebacker was a need for the Noles and Glenn fills that role nicely.

Glenn is ranked as the 35th ranked inside linebacker nationally and the 86th ranked player for the state of Georgia.

Glenn’s game reminds me alot of current FSU LB Dontavious Jackson. Glenn is very instinctual at the LB position and flows to the football inside-out like a good LB should. There is a nastiness to the way that Glenn finishes his tackles that Seminole fans will appreciate. Glenn shows some ability to play in coverage as well with multiple picks. As has been a theme for this class, Glenn is another player that prides himself on working hard on every play. Glenn will bring this same attitude to special teams which is of the utmost importance.
