Florida State football’s 2018 National Signing Day recruit tracker

Who’s aboard the Taggart train— and who is not.

NCAA Football: Florida State-Willie Taggart Press Conference Glenn Beil-USA TODAY Sports

As the Grateful Dead penned, what a long strange trip it’s been. In what feels like about a year ago but has only been a couple of months, Florida State underwent a coaching change recently. And thanks to Jimbo Fisher’s premature abstention from his recruiting duties, the Seminoles’ momentum on the trail slowed to the pace of a Fisher offense. New ’Nole head coach Willie Taggart was tasked with the challenging job of salvaging FSU’s 2018 recruiting class— and for all intents and purposes, he’s very much succeeded.

And that all culminates today, 2018’s National Signing Day. Verbal commitments will make their pledges official, and undecided prospects will make one of the biggest decisions of their lives. And we’ll keep track of it all right here, including links to pieces on each new Seminole.

Be sure to check back often, as this piece will be updated as events develop throughout this very busy day. And remember, these times can always change (and often do). The comments section below has been closed, so as to enable faster loading times.

Something Really Cool

Coach Willie Taggart asked each commit what song they would like played with their personalized signing announcement tweet (clean versions, of course). Like a walkup song in baseball, it’s a great personal touch.
