Florida State needed to replenish its receiving corps this offseason, and today it not only got deeper at the position, but also quite a bit faster, as the Seminoles have gained the written commitment of Tre’Shaun Harrison, a blue-chip athlete from the Pacific Northwest.
Harrison (6’2, 190) is a product of Seattle (WA) Garfield High School and ranked the No. 7 athlete in the country. He’s lightning fast, having posted a 4.35 second 40-yard dash time. Harrison had been committed to Willie Taggart’s Oregon Ducks, but decommitted in early December, and just days later had a scholarship offer from the ’Noles, Taggart’s new employer. Florida State was able to get Harrison on campus for an official visit on the critical final weekend before National Signing Day.
The second-ranked player in all of the Evergreen State, Harrison also had offers from Michigan, Notre Dame, USC, UCLA, Tennessee, Missouri, Washington, and Washington State, among others.
Keeping up with Harrison is a challenge, but you can keep up with FSU’s National Signing Day by following along with our tracker.
