On a momentous day that saw Florida State football snag a trio of commitments for its 2019 recruiting class, the Seminoles also added some talent to its small but well-regarded 2020 class, gaining a verbal commitment from linebacker Keyshawn Greene.

Greene (6’3, 215) is a local product, hailing from nearby Crawfordville, Fla., and playing his prep. ball at Wakulla High School. It didn’t take long for him to decide upon the ’Noles; Greene was offered on Thursday and committed on Saturday.

An as-yet unranked prospect, Greene was recruited to FSU by linebackers coach Raymond Woodie, and his addition has FSU’s 2020 class up to No. 7 in the country and No. 2 in the ACC, despite boasting just a pair of commitments (Greene joins four-star athlete Jadarius McKnight). Greene also has offers from Louisville and Georgia Tech, and his pledge to FSU was just part of a very successful day for the Seminoles.
