Tomahawk Nation’s Bud Elliott has been keeping track of how well schools are recruiting blue-chip, 2019 prospects from the state of FL. As of right now, the ’Noles have landed 9 commitments, which is the best mark in the country.

Looks like there are 2 quarterback competitions that Florida State head coach Willie Taggart will keep his eye on this summer. One involves Deondre Francois, James Blackman, and Bailey Hockman, while the other involves his son, 2020 prospect Willie Taggart, Jr.

Football:
If Florida State is going to have success in 2018, they are going to need some younger players to step up on defense. Luckily, freshman Joshua Kaindoh flashed some serious potential in 2017 and is poised for a breakout season:

VT has lost 10 defensive players this offseason to the draft, dismissal, injury, ineligibility or transfer.

Also lost its co-defensive coordinator.
Seems significant for the Hokies' season opener at #FSU. https://t.co/GCbUCq2hIT

The launch of the ACC Network in 2019 is expected to generate some major revenue for all of the schools in the conference. However, one often ignored issue (a major issue by the way) when it comes to discussing this deal is who is going to carry the network?
FSU football has had some great plays in New Orleans over the years. Play No. 34 in our Top 100 series recaps one of the most memorable Superdome moments in team history.
