Tomahawk Nation’s Bud Elliott has been keeping track of how well schools are recruiting blue-chip, 2019 prospects from the state of FL. As of right now, the ’Noles have landed 9 commitments, which is the best mark in the country.

The Seminoles landed a big commitment from 4-star linebacker Kalen DeLoach on Monday. Here’s the moment when the player from Islands High School (Savannah, GA) joined Tribe 19:

Looks like there are 2 quarterback competitions that Florida State head coach Willie Taggart will keep his eye on this summer. One involves Deondre Francois, James Blackman, and Bailey Hockman, while the other involves his son, 2020 prospect Willie Taggart, Jr.

Football:

If Florida State is going to have success in 2018, they are going to need some younger players to step up on defense. Luckily, freshman Joshua Kaindoh flashed some serious potential in 2017 and is poised for a breakout season:
