Florida State head coach Willie Taggart has certainly kept the Seminoles on the radar of many elite national prospects since taking over in December. And that trend continues, as the class of 2019’s No. 2 athlete, five-star prospect Quavaris Crouch, has included FSU in his top 7, which he tweeted late last night. This is a nice follow up for the ’Noles, who recently established that Crouch would be taking an official visit to Tallahassee.
Crouch (6’ 2.5”, 230), a running back and outside linebacker, was offered by Florida State in April of 2017 and made an unofficial visit to FSU this April. He’s entering his senior year at Harding University High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, following a 2017 in which he rushed for 3,142 yards and 31 touchdowns while also recording 42 tackles and 14 sacks.
Crouch is considered the state’s top player and the No. 21 player in the country. He’s being recruited to Florida State by offensive coordinator Walt Bell and running backs coach Donte’ Pimpleton.
