Recruiting:

Florida State will host a large number of unsigned 2019 recruits this weekend in Tallahassee. Chief among them will be 4-star, dual-threat quarterback Lance LeGendre.

The blue-chip prospect from Louisiana would fill a large need for #Tribe19, as Willie Taggart has no signed, or committed, high school QBs in this class.

Speaking of filling needs, it’s no secret that FSU’s offensive line was a disaster in 2018. What are the ’Noles doing in OL recruiting to try and plug those holes? The latest update on that position group can be found here.

2020 center prospect from Indiana, Josh Fryar, received an offer on Tuesday. Fryar camped at Florida State over the summer and performed well.

TCU running back commit, Darwin Barlow, is expected to be on campus this weekend for an official visit. (VIP) The ’Noles may be looking to add depth to the RB room with reports that Amir Rasul is looking into a potential transfer.

The Seminoles are also bringing in a kicker from the state of Georgia on an official visit this weekend. (VIP)

FSU also extended an offer to 2021 QB prospect Dematrius Davis Jr. He plays for North Shore High School in Houston, TX.

Football:

The newest addition to Taggart’s staff, wide receivers coach Ron Dugans, is excited to be back at his alma mater.

Looks like some in-state, high school coaches are also fired up about the hire. See the tweet below from Desmond Tardy, WR coach for IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.

DeMarcus Christmas is showing off at Senior Bowl practices.

Seminole legend Deion Sanders was visited by Taggart and David Kelly yesterday.

Men’s Basketball:

The Florida State men’s basketball team picked up a very important win against Clemson on Tuesday night. The win snapped a 3-game losing streak for the Seminoles.

Due to the aforementioned losing streak, FSU’s projected seed in the NCAA Tournament took a big hit. As information, the Bracketology prediction was released before the team’s victory against the Tigers.
