Update Saturday (am):
5-star corner-back Akeem Dent not only shut down his recruitment but he will be early enrolling. Arguably FSU’s best recruit he’ll be on campus Monday:

Many were worried with him not signing early that he could potentially flip to Alabama but that’s done now and he’s 100% Seminole.
Sometimes gaining a new commitment isn’t as important as securing an existing pledge, and that’s precisely what happened for Florida State following Thursday night’s Under Armour All-America Game.
As I wrote yesterday, the Seminoles missed out on gaining a commitment from blue-chip receiver Arjei Henderson, but there appears to remain a number of ins and outs to that story. However, five-star cornerback commit Akeem Dent (5’11, 180) issued a major statement following the game, one that bodes very well for the ’Noles.
According to Adam Lichtenstein of the Sun Sentinel, Dent commented after the contest on his recruitment: “It’s over; it’s all over,” he said. “Yeah, it’s over.” Dent also maintained that he would be taking no more visits.
This is a huge announcement for FSU, which was hoping that Dent would sign during the Early Signing Period. Still, having him secured as part of the class can only help moving forward to National Signing Day in early February. Dent is the top player in Florida State’s 2019 class and is ranked as the nation’s No. 3 CB.
