The second of the two major high school all-star games will take place on January 5th, in San Antonio, Texas (the Under Armour All-America Game being the other all-star game). Which players participating are going to Florida State? Which are uncommitted but FSU in the mix? Let’s take a look at who to keep an eye on during the All-American Bowl.
Signees
The Seminoles will have one player that signed during the early signing period.
Dontae Lucas: 4-star offensive lineman. Ranked the 118th best player in the 247 composite rankings.
Lucas has done a great job to lose about 40 pounds this year and get in better shape. He told Bud Elliott he did not have any “seconds” at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and is focused on making an impact in Year 1.
Commits
There will be two players representing Florida State that have committed, but not yet signed.
Nick Cross: 4-star safety. Ranked the 6th best player in the 247 composite rankings.
Quashon Fuller: 4-star defensive end. Ranked the 203rd best player overall in the 247 composite rankings.
Cross told Bud Elliott this week that he considers himself a solid Florida State commitment, and is excited to get to Tallahassee. He is still actively recruiting for Florida State on social media, though he will check out a few other spots just to be sure of his choice.
