We’re back with another update on #Tribe20. This week’s recap will encompass the last two weeks of results from Florida State’s current commits and targets.
Quarterback Jeff Sims and Sandalwood had the weekend off, but last week in a losing effort, Sims was able to pass for 298 yards to go with one touchdown pass.
Demorie Tate, one of FSU’s cornerback commits, is Florida State’s highest ranked recruit because of his defensive abilities. But two weeks ago, he displayed his skills on offense. Check out Tate’s 95 yard touchdown reception, a school record:

Lawrance Toafili had a great game last week when he rushed for 172 yards and one touchdown. But this week was even better, as the running back commit had four touchdowns to go with his 228 rushing yards. The touchdowns were from 80 yards, 51 yards, 37 yards, and 10 yards.
Malachi Wideman was able to haul in five receptions for 61 yards. On one of those receptions, he made a few defenders look foolish:

Daijun Edwards, a target at running back, had two rushing touchdowns in Colquitt County’s win. He ended the night with 61 rushing yards and 63 passing yards.
Linebacker Keyshawn Greene was able to pick off a pass in last week’s win for Wakulla. In this week’s win, he contributed with a blocked field goal.
Longtime commit Jadarius McKnight had a touchdown reception this past week. He ended up with a balanced 49 yards receiving and 46 yards rushing.
Commit Ja’Khi Douglas had been putting up video game numbers while playing quarterback for Terrebonne. But this week he was back at his natural position of wide receiver. He was able to pull in a 19 yard touchdown catch in the win.
And finally, stud defensive end Morven Joseph impacted both sides of the ball in Lake Gibson’s win this past week. Joseph had a touchdown run and also a sack. Below you can see Joseph’s touchdown and also watch the commit toss an offensive ball carrier to the ground.
