The theme of last week’s results for Florida State commits and targets? Touchdowns, touchdowns, tackles, and more touchdowns. These elite athletes showed out on both sides of the ball. Though FSU is having a rough year currently, there is hope with these future stars.
Quarterback commit Jeff Sims and Sandalwood played on ESPNU this past Friday. And though they lost the game late, Sims showed off his arm with two touchdown passes. One of those was a 42 yard dime.

His teammate 2021 target Branden Jennings was a wrecking ball on defense. He ended the night with double digits tackles, multiple forced fumbles, and a touchdown recovery in the endzone.
In the next few years, Jeff Sims could be making several touchdown connections with wide receiver Malachi Wideman. Each week, all the commit seems to do is catch touchdowns. This past week, he hauled in two more in his team’s win.

Lawrance Toafili was unstoppable this past week. In Pinellas Park’s win, Toafili rushed for 249 yards, which included four touchdowns. Those touchdown runs were from 70 yards, 25 yards, 28 yards, and 64 yards. Florida State has a stud in the running back commit.
Wide receiver commit Ja’Khi Douglas lines up all over the field for his high school team. Each week, you never know where the box score will show he lined up. But what you do know is that wherever Douglas lines up, he’s excels. This past week Douglas rushed for 130 yards and two touchdown runs while playing quarterback.
Wide receiver target Bryan Robinson had three touchdowns in Palm Beach Central’s blowout win. Robinson hauled in two touchdown passes and also had a rushing touchdown.
Running back target Daijun Edwards had another 100 yard rushing night for Colquitt County. His team had him lined up in their version of the wildcat offense, which allowed him to score two touchdowns on the ground.
On the defensive side of the ball, in addition to Jennings’ numbers above, FSU commit Keyshawn Greene had 13 tackles, including a sack. While commit Morven Joseph had 14 tackles, including five tackles for loss.
And finally, linebacker target Desmond Tisdol took a one handed interception all the way to the house in his team’s game.
