Venice High School OL Thomas Shrader signed with the Florida State Seminoles during the Early Signing Period on Wednesday afternoon.
The Florida native is a 6’5, 265-pound offensive tackle who helped his high school win the 7A Florida State championship in 2017 during his sophomore season.
Schrader was no stranger on campus, committing to Florida State back in July, 2019. While he was originally recruited by former FSU OL coach Randy Clements and LB coach Raymond Woodie, Schrader elected to stay with the Seminoles after taking an official visit on Friday, December 13th.
He chose the ’Noles over offers from Louisville, Boston College, USF, Indiana, Minnesota, Duke, and Kentucky.
Shrader is ranked as the No. 13 center in the 2020 class and the No. 83 player in the state of Florida.
