Florida State held its annual Saturday Night Live recruiting event today and the Seminoles have their first commit of the day. And this commit came at a much needed spot, offensive tackle. Lloyd Willis committed after spending the day at Florida State and working out for the coaches. Willis plays at Miami Killian High School and is currently unranked. He holds offers from UCF, FIU, and FAMU. Telly Lockette was Willis’ primary recruiter.
Our own Bud Elliott described the 6’7 commit as a player with some athleticism, a big frame, but raw. In the coaching segment of today’s event, Willis was working with offensive line coach Randy Clements and appeared to love the coaching he received.
Lloyd Willis is Florida State’s 17th commit for the 2020 class. He is also the 3rd offensive lineman taken by the Seminoles, joining Zane Herring and Alex Atcavage. Florida State now has the 14th ranked class in the nation and also the 3rd ranked class in the ACC.
