Florida State is working on putting together a top ten class for the 2020 recruiting cycle. The Seminoles are also adding recruits for future classes, including landing top 2022 quarterback Chad Mascoe. Below are updates on how those commits and other targets performed in the past week’s games.
First up is Florida State’s future signal caller Jeff Sims. The 2020 quarterbacked threw for 102 yards and two touchdown receptions. He also had 158 yards rushing and one touchdown on the ground. Sandalwood won 34-10 over Fletcher. Check out one of Sims’ touchdown passes:

Sims’ teammate is 2021 target Branden Jennings. The linebacker had 16 tackles in the victory.
Wide receiver target Bryan Robinson was unstoppable in Palm Beach Central’s 47-18 blowout of Dwyer. Robinson recorded three touchdown receptions, including the one below:

Seminole’s commit Malachi Wideman had six catches for 86 yards in Venice’s 44-0 shutout of St Pete. Wideman had a “what could have been” night as he had three total touchdowns, one by punt return and two via catches. Unfortunately, the two touchdown catches were called back due to penalties.
FSU is hoping to land some studs at defensive end in this class. Their top commit at the position is Morven Joseph. He helped Lake Gibson shutdown Kathleen 36-17. Joseph had five sacks in the game. Also, he already looks the part:

Emanuel Rogers is huge. Defensive tackles his size aren’t supposed to take fumble recoveries to the house, but that’s just what Rogers does in the highlight below from Jensen Beach’s 20-12 win over Chatfield:

Last up is commit Jayion McCluster. The linebacker showed up on both sides of the ball in Largo’s 17-6 victory over Boca Ciega. McCluster had a one yard touchdown run and jumped a route for a pick on defense. Check out his interception below:
