Getting four-star safety Kamren Kinchens out of Miami could be tough. He’s visited the Hurricanes 10 times, and the Seminoles just once. Still, he includes Florida State in his recently released top 10— so the ’Noles will be working toward getting him to make a longer stay in Tallahassee.
Kinchens (5’10, 174) plays his prep. ball at Miami’s Northwestern High School, where he’s considered the state’s 51st best 2021 prospect, the country’s No. 13 safety, and the class’ 318th best player, overall.
FSU offered Kinchens on May 30, 2019, and then got him on campus in July for a camp. As you might imagine, he’s a highly sought-after prospect, coming from a football powerhouse that has claimed the last three state titles in its division. In addition to the ’Noles and ’Canes, Kinchens also has offers from Florida, LSU, Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Oregon, and Nebraska, along with several other programs.
