FSU commit earns All-American status

Godzilla coming to a big screen near you...

Branden Jennings remains Florida State’s top-rated commitment in the 2021 recruiting class, despite a curious and precipitous drop in 247’s rankings. Jennings committed to the Seminoles during the first Junior Day weekend held under new coach Mike Norvell.

A legacy recruit, Jennings followed the footsteps of his father Bradley Jennings Sr, choosing the ‘Noles rather than veering into the forest - like his brother Bradley Jr., who chose the Miami Hurricanes.

Jennings’ stellar play on the field has earned him recognition from most recruiting services. Now he is receiving recognition as an All-American:

Jennings will be playing in the 2021 edition of the Under Armour All-American game. This will be the first chance Florida State fans get to see the legacy defender in televised action.

Tomahawk Nation’s Oline0175 examined Jennings’ game in a scouting report that details his skillset and projects his fit into Adam Fuller’s defense.

The All-American linebacker is currently rated 75th nationally, 6th best at his OLB position, and 12th in Florida. The blue-chip legacy currently plies his trade for Sandalwood, notable for another edge defender in FSU alumnus DeMarcus Walker.
