It’s a solo show this week, as Bud Elliott is back to address a diverse mailbag of listener questions, but as you might expect with National Signing Day happening tomorrow, recruiting takes center stage.
Elliott starts with a big-picture look at Florida State recruiting, and just where it fits in with the competition. An important thing to consider here is another coaching change at FSU, which has obviously meant a change in most of the staff.
More specifically, Bud delves into defensive tackle recruiting, and how it’s so centered around the southeast. He also takes on queries about the Seminoles’ recent commtiments, many of whom are flying well below the radar— and which guys are most likely to emerge as legitimate surprises in the years ahead.
Bud also hits on another overarching question: Jimbo Fisher’s recruiting start with the ’Noles, as opposed to that of Mike Norvell. And there’s much more ground covered here as well; but I don’t want to spoil anything.
