The Class of 2021 interior lineman goes to Westlake HS in Westlake Village, California. He stands at 6’3 325 pounds and is the 200th best player nationally according to the 247 Sports Composite. They have him ranked 13th among defensive tackles and 20th in CA.

What’s one thing from each of your top-5 that stands out in a good way?
Oregon: “Close to home, family-oriented.”
FSU: “The GOAT himself: Odell Haggins.”
Florida: “Coach Mullen is just awesome.”
Michigan: “Early playing time; great degree.”
Texas A&M: “Coach Jimbo and Coach Robinson are great people and coaches.”
Do you have a relationship with any of the other coaches at FSU?
“Coach Norvell and Coach (Kenny) Dillingham (OC).”
Has Odell discussed the possibility of coming in and playing early with the possibility FSU’s top-3 interior lineman are gone after this season?
“We just talk about me going there and him turning me not only into a great football player, but a better man, and I believe that wholeheartedly. It’s a position of need, so I could see myself working hard and earn that starting spot as a freshman.”
What would it mean to have a chance to play for a coach who’s put so many guys into the NFL?
“A dream come true. Just talking on the phone with him doesn’t seem real.”
Are there certain players you model your game after?
“Haloti Ngata, Quinnen Williams, Da’Ron Payne, Dexter Lawrence, Derrick Brown, and Marvin Wilson.”
What would it mean to (potentially) be part of Coach Norvell’s first class and help reestablish FSU?
“It’d be an honor and a privilege to help Coach Norvell and get FSU back to its glory days.”
Do you have a visit set up for FSU?
“Not yet. Working it out with the coaches.”
When were you hoping to have a final decision made?
“Early Signing Day.”
So you’re planning to announce, sign, & enroll early?
“Yes sir. I’m actually ahead 20 credits as of right now, so I’m definitely excited about EE.”
What are the most important things you’re looking for in a school?
“Great education, great relationships with the coaches and teammates, and just an overall family vibe.”
