To say filling the offensive tackle position has been a major need in Tallahassee for the past few years would be an understatement. The Florida State Seminoles have been unsuccessful at recruiting the position over the last several classes. To solve this problem, Florida State’s new staff has made several 2021 offensive tackle targets a high priority. One of those players is Micah Morris out of Kingsland, Georgia. On Tuesday, their hard work paid off as FSU made Morris’ trimmed down top-5:
Morris visited Tallahassee for Florida State’s first Junior Day of 2020 on January 25th:
Since that visit, whenever Morris was asked about his top schools, he has mentioned the ’Noles. FSU offensive line coach Alex Atkins has been building a relationship with Morris since being hired.
Morris is listed at 6’4 315 pounds and attends Camden County High School. He’s a top-100 player by each major recruiting site.
