Originally from Georgia, DB Kamari Lassiter is now one of the best prospects from the state of Alabama in this cycle.
The 5’11” corner, who also plays receiver, shows flashes of being a playmaker on film and appears to have excellent off coverage technique for a high schooler.
Lassiter tells me his strengths are his intelligence on the field and that his weakness is his aggressiveness.
Lassiter hasn’t been on campus yet but tells me he is very excited to come on March 6th so he can get comfortable with FSU. Lassiter went on to say that he wants to get to know the staff, build relationships and see how life would be if he attended FSU.
He says Florida State defensive back coach Marcus Woodson also has a good connection with him already.
Lassiter mentioned that Woodson stands out to him because of the way he carries himself and that he prides himself on “family and faith” which is a big deal to him.
The main contenders for Lassiter besides FSU include Alabama, Auburn and Florida.
