Before a big recruiting weekend and the start of spring football, Florida State football head coach Mike Norvell has announced a completed trio of hires to the Seminoles’ recruiting staff.
Chuck Cantor, who holds three different degrees from FSU, will be serving as the Florida State’s director of player personnel, while Adam Van Clay (who has just one degree from FSU) is coming on as assistant director of recruiting operations after two years at Clemson. Kyle Pulek, who is headed to Tallahassee by way of Nevada, is the program’s new director of creative media after spending two years with the Wolf Pack. Pulek is a former college football player himself, and has experience coaching linebackers at the collegiate level.
The three join the already-hired director of high school relations Carlos Locklyn and director of on-campus recruiting Charity Grady
“I’m fired up about this group of leaders we have brought together to coordinate our recruiting operations here at Florida State,” Norvell said in a press release. “With Chuck, Adam and Kyle alongside Carlos and Charity we have established an incredible set of talented people who are passionate about helping Florida State succeed and understand the type of student-athlete we are going to bring into our program. Recruiting is a vital piece of any program, and this group is working tirelessly to ensure our future is bright.”
