Christian Lewis is a 6’2 190 pound wide receiver from Pleasant Grove, AL.

The Class of 2021 prospect attends Pleasant Grove High School and has an 88 rating (high 3*) from the 247 Sports Composite List. He’s ranked 417th nationally (68th best WR and 16th best player in Alabama).

Lewis currently holds offers from Arkansas, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, UCLA, Wake Forest, and West Virginia, among others.

Who accompanied you on the visit?

“[My] sister and her husband.”

How was your time on campus?

“It was fun.”

Which coach(es) did you hang out with on your visit?

“[Coach] Dugans.”

What Florida State coaches do you speak with most frequently?

“[Coach] Lock (Carlos Locklyn, Director of High School Relations).”

And what have they said to you?

“They love my film—the way I play [physically] and attack the ball.”

You’re still waiting to get an FSU offer—what would an offer from Florida State mean?

“It would mean a lot for the new staff to take a chance on me.”

If the staff offered, would FSU move to the top of your list?

“Yes, sir.”

Who else is in your top-5?

“I really don’t have a top five yet—[I’m] still evaluating.”

What do you know about Florida State football—did you watch them growing up?

“Yes, sir—the QB from my rival high school went there—Jameis Winston. Now, I train with him when he’s in town.”

Did Coach Norvell recruit you when he was at Memphis?

“Yes, sir!!”

Have you spoken with him 1-on-1?

“Not since he’s been at FSU.”

“I really like Norvell—he was the first coach to reach out to me. I remember our first conversation he told me ‘don’t worry about offers—they will come—control what you can and continue to work relentlessly, and the rest will fall in place’ I wrote it down and hung it up.”
